Hands of Mercy Philippines is the compassion ministry of the Association of Mercy Community Churches in the Philippines, and affiliated to Hands of Mercy International.

Hands of Mercy International is a registered charity in England (Registered Charity No.1097434), and was established in 2003 to represent the interests of Hands of Mercy Philippines.

The mission of the Association of Mercy Community Churches (AMCC) is to oversee the structure and development of Mercy Community Churches and the Hands of Mercy Compassion Ministry, in their calling to meet the needs of the whole person - body, mind, and spirit.

The vision of AMCC is to provide a venue of cooperation for pastors, senior elders, and leaders in order to advance our common vision and values for planting indigenous churches with ministries of compassion within urban poor communities.

Goals

AMCC commits to celebrate God’s presence and power by serving the Mercy Community Churches in the following ways:

• Provide pastoral care (through prayer and counseling) for pastors, senior elders and leaders so that they are equipped with the spiritual, professional, and technical skills necessary to build a local church, which is spirit-sensitive and outreach orientated.

• Provide regular church leadership training on the nature and ministries of the church, with particular emphasis on the basic biblical teaching of church government and leadership.

• Provide a forum by which pastors, senior elders and leaders are able to prepare and plan a corporate effort in church development through the exchange of ideas, fellowship, relationship building, and accountability.

• Facilitate efforts to build kingdom-orientated churches, in which faith and life are effectively integrated, while serving in local situations through the process of collaboration and unity.

• Provide the necessary covering and accountability to the Hands of Mercy Philippines board of trustees, which is the compassion ministry of AMCC. Hands of Mercy aims at restoring hope to the needy through love and compassion.
