Hands of Mercy started in 1997 as a Church based Christian compassion ministry. The work began with one street child who took us to her urban poor community in Barangay Plainview, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This contact developed into reaching a family, which in turn opened up a whole community. Eleven years on Hands of Mercy continues to extend assistance to children and their families living in Barangay Plainview, Addition Hills and Barangka in Mandaluyong City. Communities in Baguio City and La Trinidad are also being served.
